Darko Esser - "The Slightly Disturbed" EP (Sandwell District Rmx)

Darko Esser releases his first ever EP on Balans Records. This huge release featuring the masters Peter van Hoesen and the Sandwell District duo Regis and Function. We've actually never heard anything from these guys we didn't like and this EP is no exception. Listen below:

VCMG – "Spock" (Regis Remix)

Last week a side-project made up of Depeche Mode founding members Martin Gore and Vince Clarke (also of Erasure) entitled VCMG was announced (listen to the "Spock" EP title track here).  What really got us excited though was this FACT exclusive remix of "Spock" by Regis, which you can listen to below.  Regis is known for deep atmospherics and a primal techno sound, yet on this remix there's a lot more going on in the field of melody too:

Raime - "If Anywhere Was Here He Would Know Where We Are" EP

UK duo Raime just put out a re-press of the second, long sold-out, release on Blackest Ever Black, which was originally printed in December 2010. On the title-track A-side they demostrate their heavy industrial sound, in the vein of Shackelton's work. Also check out check out B-Side, "This Foundry", a brilliant track reworked by Red Cup favorite by Regis, who is also performing soon on our shores under the Sandwell District monicker.

Regis - "Blood Witness"

Regis' first release under that monicker for the first time in a decade is "In a Syrian Tongue" a primal techno EP on Blackest Ever Black.  Stand out track "Blood Witness" is a dark and ominous affair that has a slight hypnotic tribal quality to it.  Listen to it below:
