Preview: Petre Inspirescu - "Un Livret De Duminica" EP

In control of both his music and graphic art, Romanian artist Petre Inspirescu delivers an impressive vinyl-only debut EP entitled "Un Livret De Duminica". After a succesful series of podcasts, Petre puts on his producer hat resulting in a funky techno minimal sound that is especially succeful on the title track, that also features an interesting melodic underbelly.  The more abstract B-side with its bubbles and snaps shouldn't be overlooked either. Developer - "Archive 1" EP

The Modularz imprint's sub-label Developer Archive's first release is a promising start to say the least.  Visually the exclusive to clear vinyl release also features provocative artwork, fitting to the music's sensual aesthetic. The track, which you can stream below, starts off with a melodic tease before the metallic rhythms and Detroit stabs tonally overtake the intro's initial direction.

Dax J & Chris Stanford - Programm EP

London techno party throwers EarToGround present their first label release (ETG001) which will be pressed on limited vinyl copies only. The "Programm" EP by Dax J & Chris Stanford, including two heavy remixes by Shifted and Truss, is a worthy release, with deep synth washes and driving basslines. Red Cup is already looking forward to more releases from newcomer EarToGround. Check the tease below:
